• Controls for all camera functions except power (camera has an auto power-off function) and viewfinder adjustment.
• Standard 3-pin Nikonos strobe synchronization connector. This allows you to use any underwater strobe with a Nikonos connector with this housing/camera combination. It will functions in manual mode only (even if it's a TTL strobe). This kind of "electrical" synchronization is more reliable than the "optical" which is commonly used with digital cameras.
• The house obscures the internal flash except for a window that allows for a fibre-optic strobe-trigger cable to be attached. You can not use a slave triggered strobe without a fiber-optic strobe-trigger cable.
• Interchangeable lens port. A special wide-angle lens port EHN5400-WP exists for use with the Nikon WC-E80 wide-angle adaptor.
• The standrad lens port has an 82mm lens thread that allows the attacment of accessories like colour correction filters or macro conversion lenses.
• Standrad 1/4" tripod socket
• Can be attached to ESA slot stay and ESA series arms, external strobe, digital light and others.
